Thinkbox Software - Deadline 10 - Usage Based Licensing
Deadline is a hassle-free administration and compute management toolkit for Windows, Linux, and Mac OSX based render farms. It offers a world of flexibility and a wide-range of management options for render farms and compute clusters of all sizes, and supports over 70 different content creation applications out of the box. Deadline’s unique architecture removes the need for a centralized manager application by using a highly-scalable database and basic file sharing to manage the farm. As long as your Database and File Server are running, Deadline is running.
The latest release – Deadline 10
Deadline 10 increases flexibility for hybrid workflows that leverage Amazon Web Services (AWS) EC2, allowing you the freedom to easily access any combination of on-premise or cloud-based resources. The new AWS Portal panel in the Deadline Monitor enables simple and secure expansion of your on-premise render farm, and natively integrates with AWS via your existing AWS account. It also synchronizes with your on-premise asset server automatically to ensure all appropriate files have been transferred to AWS before rendering begins.
Includes one year of free Support & Maintenance
All new Deadline license purchases include Thinkbox's Support & Maintenance agreement (1 year). The agreement covers technical support and free updates within that period. After the first year the Support & Maintenance agreement is optional and you can choose to renew it yearly to keep getting technical support and free software upgrades.
What is Usage Based Licensing?
Usage Based Licensing is a new on-demand licensing model that was introduced in Deadline 8. It works with both on-premise and cloud-based render nodes, and can work alongside existing permanent and temporary licenses. Usage Based Licensing in Deadline can't be purchased directly in our online store, so please use the "Get quote" button above to request a quote from us.
