ECO - TPU - 1.75 mm
Description
ECO TPU is a flexible and very strong filament of termoplastisk polyuretan. ECO TPU filament is similar to the flexible NinjaFlex filament which is well known amongst soft filaments.
ECO TPU is currently available in the following five different SHORE-values (flexibility levels):
- SHORE 85A (softest)
- SHORE 90A (soft)
- SHORE 95A (medium)
- SHORE 60D (hard)
- SHORE 64D (hardest)
Higher SHORE value means less flexibility. The above list describes increasing hardness. The D scale is harder than the A scale, which makes e.g. 60D harder than 95A even though the number is lower. Generally, harder filaments (less flexible) are easier to 3D print with compared to softer, more flexible filaments. User tip: use D scale filaments and set fewer shells and less infill in the slicing software for more flexibility.

About ECO filaments
All material types in the ECO filament range are produced in a sustainable way, in line with Creative Tools values. The ECO filaments are made of high-quality granules. The manufacturing process is well tested and controlled which makes the ECO filaments persistent in diameter.
