I dag har Maxon släppt Cinema 4D R21 – en verklig milstolpe i 3D-programmets historia. Här är varför denna release är betydande.
En enda Cinema 4D
Nu finns inte längre indelningarna BodyPaint 3D,
Prime, Broadcast, Visualize och Studio. Nu finns endast en enda fulladdad Cinema 4D med alla tillgängliga
features.
Subscription-licenser
Nytt är också subscription-licenserna: månatliga, årliga och 3-åriga (multi-seats) hyrlicenser inkl
full tillgång till Cineversity, och de kan köpas i prispressat paket med renderaren Redshift. OBS! Permanenta licenser finns fortfarande. MSA
(Maxon Service Agreement) erbjuds dock inte längre.
MyMaxon Account
Fr.o.m. R21 hanteras alla Cinema 4D-licenser, inkl köphistorik
och Cineversity via nya portalen MyMaxon Account.

Cinema 4D R21 kommer med en rad nya features. Här ett axplock; se

- Field Forces – The Field Force dynamics object in R21 allows users to optimize motion graphics
workflow in the MoGraph toolset
- Caps and Bevel – All-new Caps and Bevels system in R21 lets users extrude 3D logos and
animate text effects, now integrated on all spline-based objects
- Mixamo Control Rig – Offering a quick and customizable way
to implement character animation
- Optimized Workflow – Cinema 4D R21 features improved color, updated menus and defaults.
Support for HiDPI on Windows and Mac, provide optimized, anti-aliased display on high end laptops and monitors, and
more
- Material Nodes – Numerous additional nodes and UI improvements to accelerate workflow include the new Node Space that
defines which material nodes are available to the chosen renderer. Additionally, an API is now available for third-party developers to integrate
render engines with the new material node system.
